Hi I'm Jessica
If you've been carrying more than you realize, physically, emotionally, or mentally, and life feels heavier than it should, you're not alone.
Maybe this isn't what you imagined your life would feel like, and you're ready for it to feel different.
If you're here, there's a good chance part of you knows life was meant to feel different than this.

Maybe you're tired of carrying the same weight day after day.

Maybe you've tried countless things hoping this would finally be the thing that changes everything.

Maybe you've gotten so used to pushing through that you've forgotten what it feels like not to.

Or maybe you've simply reached the point where you're no longer interested in just coping.
You want to truly feel better.

I see you.
-
I see how much effort you've put into trying to improve your life.

-
I see how many times you've picked yourself up and kept going.

-
I see how easy it is to look fine on the outside while carrying so much on the inside.

-
I see the part of you that knows there's more than simply getting through the day.

-
I see how deeply you want to feel lighter, freer, and more like yourself again.
I want you to know something important...
This does not have to be your forever.

So many of us spend years carrying stress, pressure, expectations, responsibilities, emotions, and experiences without realizing how much they shape the way we move through life.

Over time, that weight can affect our energy, our emotions, our relationships, our health, and our connection to ourselves.

Not because we're weak.

Not because we're doing something wrong.

But because we were never meant to carry so much for so long.

The beautiful thing is that these patterns can change.
And when they do, life begins to feel lighter.

You have more room for joy.

More room for possibility.

More room to be fully present in your life again.
My Work
I help women reconnect with themselves, their body, and the parts of life they thought they'd lost.

When you've been carrying stress, pressure, responsibility, pain, anxiety, or emotional weight for a long time, it can start to feel like life is happening around you instead of through you.

You adapt.

You push through.

You keep going.

And before you know it, simply getting through the day has become your normal.

My work is about helping you set down what no longer belongs to you so you have more room for what does.

More energy.

More joy.

More freedom.

More connection to yourself and your life.

Together we explore what your body has been trying to communicate and create space for more energy, joy, freedom, and possibility.

Because life wasn't meant to be something you get through.

It was meant to be something you look forward to.

Why This Approach Is Different
Many healing approaches focus on
helping you cope better.

My work focuses on helping you uncover what may be standing between you and the life you want to experience.

Because sometimes what keeps us stuck isn't obvious.

It's woven into the ways we think, respond, protect ourselves, and move through the world.

When those deeper patterns shift, life often begins to open up again.

What once felt heavy feels lighter.

What once felt impossible feels available.

And what once felt out of reach starts feeling possible again.
At some point, you may have started to notice...
That no matter how much you fix, manage, or work through, something still feels missing.

That it's not just affecting your body.
It's affecting your energy, your relationships, your joy, and your ability to fully enjoy your life.

That you've become so focused on getting through the day that you've lost touch with what it feels like to truly look forward to it.

What you've been needing isn't another thing to do, but a way to finally set something down.
My Story
I didn't set out to become an energy healer.

Like many women, I was simply looking for ways to better care for myself and my family.

After having my daughter, I found myself diving deeper into the world of natural health.
One rabbit hole led to another, and before long I was learning about herbs, homeopathics, nutrition, and the many ways our bodies are designed to support and restore themselves.

But underneath all of that curiosity was a question I had carried for most of my life:
"Is there more to this thing called life?"

I've always felt there was something deeper happening beneath the surface of what we experience physically, emotionally, and mentally.

When I discovered energy healing, it opened a door I didn't even know existed.

What fascinated me wasn't the idea of energy itself.

It was the realization that our bodies are constantly communicating with us.

And what I began witnessing over and over again was that when people finally felt seen, understood, and supported at a deeper level, something started to shift.

They felt lighter.

More connected.

More themselves.

More alive.

That realization became the foundation of My Indigo River and the work I now share through Set It Down.
A Few Things About Me

Because this work is deeply personal, I think it's important you know a little about the person behind My Indigo River.

I'm naturally curious and have a tendency to fall down rabbit holes. What starts as a simple question can quickly turn into hours of learning, researching, and wondering, "Wait... why does it work that way?"

I'm a mother, animal lover, tea drinker, and someone who genuinely enjoys talking about the deeper things in life.
I'm just as happy sitting by a river or walking through the woods as I am exploring a new idea that completely changes how I see the world.

I care deeply about helping people feel seen, understood, and supported. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know how powerful it can be when someone truly listens.

Most days you'll find me in comfy clothes, spending time with my family, learning something new, or getting distracted by a question that absolutely did not need to become a three-hour research project.

You've tried many things to feel better, but something still feels unresolved.

-
You spend more time managing your body, your emotions, or your energy than simply enjoying your life.

-
You've become so used to pushing through that you can't remember the last time life felt easy.
